 This coffee comes from the famous Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. Tarrazú produces some of the most highly sought-after coffee beans in Costa Rica. Tarrazú farms have the advantage of the rich, volcanic soils of Costa Rica.

CHARACTERISTICS

The soils of Tarrazú usually produce beans with a complex body and flavors that range from dark cacao to citrus fruits and tropical nuts.

PROCESS

This coffee was prepared using the black honey process, which means that most of the coffee fruit was left on the bean in processing. This results in a unique addition of flavors and characteristics to the coffee bean that provide an elevated experience with a brighter acidity and sweeter notes than their full wash counterparts and makes for a smooth brew.
